“13 Bethany drive, leicester ,NW3 6DZ. I have done all this with two agents in the last two hours,” sighing deeply. “Look, I have waited two weeks for my parcel, if it doesn’t arrive in the next two days I want a refund.”
After five minutes she hung up the phone.
“Any luck this time?” Marcus asked.
“No same stupid ‘we’re on top it and we’ll get it sorted response’ . This is what happens when you leave Christmas shopping to the last minute.” The lines on her face growing thicker.
“Come on relax Joe, as long as we have each other, christmas will be perfect. Besides the flat already feels claustrophobic and I doubt the little guy will notice anything missing.”
…………..
It was upon a foggy Christmas morning, all was calm and peaceful. Not a gift was missing or a hair out of place, Amazon had delivered and the three wise grannies had added awesome gifts to the bounty under a lovely tree.
Josephine, Marcus and Joshua had a lovely Christmas.
I must apologize for not being active last week. I failed to read your stories as well as respond to your comments on mine. Will get to it this week.

A very modern Christmas story. I hope you have a good one! And how gracious of you to apologize for falling behind. I seem to fall behind every other week!
