One plus one, two.

Two plus two, four.

Three plus three, six.

… a star slowly emerges.

Equal numbers giving rise to something bright.

One plus two, three.

Two plus three, five.

Three plus four, seven.

… cuts of diamonds slowly emerge.

Unequal numbers giving rise to something brilliant.

“Whatever sequence, code or pattern you’re trying to study, write or discover you must remember: the best secrets are kept in plain sight, the simpler they’re the more difficult it is for the human mind to accept.  There are stars in our numbers, there are impurities in our diamond.”

I am Chioma and I like to think of myself as an avid reader and a non biased writer.I got married and joined my partner to start our own little new home miles away from family (*tears*). what are my ideologies: I am a strong advocate for maintaining balance and modesty in every area of life. I believe everyone is entitled to their opinions but they should never be forced on another. I strongly agree that you are allowed to shout your views at the top of your lungs, just as I am allowed to totally ignore them. However it is my belief that in order to create a home far from the familiar environment one must make certain compromises. Not compromises that change who you are or your principles but those that allow you live at peace with the neighbours. That said, I hope my page brings a whole new perspective to living under a whole new climate. Thank you.

  6. Actually, Chioma, you wrote a sweetly brilliant piece. One of our great American authors, Carl Sandberg, once wrote that “the sea and the stars are held by numbers.” The poem is called Monkey of Stars. One of the lines is — “Oh hoh, yah yah, loo loo, the meaning was five, six, seven.”

    You have made my day! Five out of five galaxies!
