I have traveled far and wide, across the fields and back.
I have seen them come and go; cows, sheep, fodder, weed, metallic monsters with gigantic teeth and vibrating footsteps, all traipsing across the same field with a different mission .
Not one of great speed nor intimidating size, I live for every moment, happy for a niche that is all mine, thankful that there is much more beyond the trees, bigger and greater than I.
Written for Sonya’s TLT – Week twenty-four.
Nicely done. Wondering what the viewpoint it here? A vole scampering in the grass? A slow worm, slithering on its way? Great story 🙂

Hehehe!
I had a snail in mind. But a slow worm will do also.
