dangled dew drops of hope reflecting shards

of faith through tiny eyes.

Dew drops, tiny drops, settled

atop a petal, minuscule to you but

just enough for little ole me.

Written for TJ Paris haiku challenge – dew

Please indulge me of the three which reads better or which do you prefer and why?

  1. My favourite is the second one. “Crystals of hope” sounds nicer than “shards” to my ears, as crystals are associated with beauty while shards are often nasty things which stick in you (most often used in the phrase “shards of glass”, which is never good!) 🙂
    Lovely!
