Sit by me in the dark
Caress my pearly innocence
Slowly unravel layers of darkness meshed within my soul.
Spend time with me,
Explore depths untouched.
Take my invite,
Make me your besotted mistress.
Lie with me
we might birth something new.
And when the groans of labour strings have waned
And the crescendo of sweet release fades
We’ll stay as one.
Bound by chords; upheld like music sheets on the rack.
This time though we – ‘the audience and I’ become the masters
and like the pedals on a grand piano we will play you like a puppet hanging by a thread.

Very beautiful. Love and art are promising and seductive, and can swallow you whole if you don’t pay attention.
