I don’t like waiting
but I’m not in a hurry.
I just want what I want
and I want it now.
I want to get going now,
not because I’m late,
I just like to move at my own pace,
So move over.
I am not bored,
But it seems like you’re repeating yourself,
and very slowly too.
My brain tends to switch off …
……………………
So if you haven’t guessed, I’m a tiny little bit impatient. It’s a limitation that is slowly tested each day by my beautiful energetic baby, by my ever meticulous husband and by my dreams which require I take time to grow before rushing in where angels fear to tread.
I am a massive fan of delayed gratification, I always thought it was the same as being patient, tsk tsk! guess I was wrong. I am learning daily to sit still, process my thoughts and rein in my desire to just get the task finished.
In response to the daily prompt flawed.
This one is just for fun, laugh a little. Our flaws probably existed while we were young, but people still thought we were cute. The difference is as adults we must rein them in (note: not ashamed of them) to stay cute not for anyone, but for our own peace of mind most importantly.
So true! 🙂 Love the cartoon…that’s true too these days!

I can suffer from lack of patience as well. If there’s nothing else I can do, like sitting at the doctor’s waiting for an appointment, I’m fine. But if I could be doing something, I need to get on with it.

So many people aren’t on time, it drives me crazy to all that waiting. And fading out during a conversation when you get bored, completely normal.

Oi! Dreams take so long to get to… It’s hard to wait when you see where you want to be… But some things just can’t be rushed. It’s like the old adage goes:
It takes 9 months to make a baby, no matter how many people you put on the job.
