“Errmm, where is it? Gesturing at the empty spot.
“Old tank? I traded it in, thought if you became my Mrs and we had an ankle biter in the future, we should get something … you know family friendly.” He replied in a gruff voice starring above her head at the spot.
Whispering softly “Is that your twisted attempt at a proposal?”
Shrugging his shoulder, he waited. His face a stoic mask of calmness, his eyes a globe of love rotating in hope.
With tears in her eyes and a wobbly smile across her lips “You’re a big softie.”
“Yeah, am Winnie the pooh trapped in the hulks body.” They both laughed at the silly notion.
“You start going all soft and girlie on me and the deal is out of the window. So what’s it gonna be?”
“Trust you to spoil the moment. Yes to you, ankle biter and all, I love you. Come on, let’s go in you big mallee bull.”
“I love you too.” Arms around her neck he pulled her in for a kiss.
