Life is … a waterway separating us from the ultimate goal.
Each must cross the divide at their own time: a premature departure might mean death or endless wandering: to procrastinate might mean living with a constant shadow of regret.
Some are designed to cross at the shallow end, others at the deep end: find your path and stick to it, to do otherwise is to waste your resources or risk disaster.
Each is quipped differently: some will swim over, some will fly across, others might take a canoe, others a speed boat, some might build a bridge and others might use stepping stones.
Some are designed to cross alone, others must cross with another.
Whichever way you go, strategic timing and a true sense of self is important to make it across.
Thus why procrastinators, the impatient and those in self-denial might find the crossing twice as hard.
Hi there, thank you for stopping by today. This is the sixth edition of my ‘life is’ series where I try to relate life to different concepts/ideas in society. Would love to hear your thoughts on life is … a waterway.
