“As the night sky appears my darling one, I pray you sleep in peace. Rest your head on the clouds and let the angels guide you home,”
The voice was soft and soothing just like mamas’, it floated through the tunnel fading away as I approached the light. It was a recurring dream, the same night after night.
“Mummy what does re..curring mean? Did Lenny ever wake up again?”
“Recurring is when something happens again and again,”
“Like reading bedtime stories at night?”
“Hmmmm sort of. Now settle down so we can find out what happens next,”
